Canterbury Vest

The Canterbury Vest is a very versatile garment. It can be layered over a simple or fitted gown, as shown here, or over a tunic and breeches for a different look entirely. They are a wonderful way to achieve a simple, comfortable, and very flattering medieval look.
The vest is slit at the sides up to the hips to allow for freedom of movement, and is fastened in front with a single clasp. It is fully lined.
