Doublet

Worn by men throughout the Elizabethan era, doublets are a very elegant part of your wardrobe.

Doublets can also be made for women, shaped simlar to a bodice, but with a button front. The example shown here also features split sleeves and a standing collar.

Because doublets are fitted garments, they are always custom-made and require at least two in-person fittings.

When you order a doublet, I will work with you to determine the style and fabrics you want. Doublets can be made of one fabric or two, with or without set-in or tie-in sleeves, and with a variety of details particular to your tastes.

Doublets begin at $250, though the cost can go up depending on the cost of the fabric chosen and the time it takes to construct.
