Gambeson

The Gambeson is a padded jacket designed to be worn under armor, to protect the wearer and to help cushion the weight of all that metal.

Storied Threads' Gambeson features a double-layer of quilting around the shoulders and chest for extra comfort right where most of the armor's weight will rest. It also has a high collar, providing a nice layer of padding under a gorget. Sleeves are edged with a hand-stiched soft supple leather.
